Signs of Septic System Failure
A septic system has 2 parts: A tank and a drainfield. Over time (typically 2 to 4 years, depending on usage capacity), a buildup of solids may occur. This can lead to septic tank overflow, clogging and blockages in your property’s drainfield.

If you see any of the following call us for service!
- Slow-draining sinks, toilets, or showers
- Wet or mushy ground over the septic drainfield
- Green, lush grass over the drainfield
- Strange odors in your yard
- Unusual gurgling sounds from drains
- Unexplained patches of standing water in your yard

Septic Cleaning/Pumping Procedure
- The first step is find the septic tank access lids and open them
- To pump out the septic tank, a large hose from the vacuum truck is connected to the tank, and the contents of the tank are pumped out.
- Once the tank has been pumped out, the interior of the tank needs to be washed out.
- The technician will then inspect the tank for any damage. They will also check the baffles and the inlet and outlet pipes.
- Once the inspection is complete, the access lids will be closed. The technician will make sure that the lids are properly sealed.
